I enjoyed every minute of this book and cannot wait for the next book in this series. This book for me was not only a romance, but a self discovery and a mystery of finding out who you are and where you belong. This book has it all mystery, suspense, love, grief, friendship, coming of age, self discovery, sorrow, twist and turns, and many unknowns. You find yourself surprised at what comes next as you turn the pages, you are drawn into this book from the beginning and you can picture what is happening as it happens. I have to say one thing, that ending is one heck of a cliff hanger. I love this story and Wren wrote with such detail and full range of emotions that had you turning page after page until the end. Wren Figueiro’s debut novel Atancia is a great young adult paranormal romance and hit this one out of the park. It is the first book of The Durand Duology.
